What make and model is the Knight Rider Car?

The answer to that question depends on if you are a fan of the original television series starring David Hasselhof, or the made for TV movie released in 2008. If it’s the latter, you would be a fan of a Ford Shelby GT 500 KR Mustang. If you are all about the original, you’ll want to get your hands on a Used Pontiac Trans Am.

How difficult is it going to be to sell a vehicle that has been in a rollover accident? The vehicle has been completely fixed and now looks brand new. Can I expect to get the listed Kelly Blue Book value for it?

I would suggest that you list the car at the Kelly Blue Book value. If they ask about the car history, you will have to tell them about the accident. Many people get a free vehicle history report before buying a used car. You may want to check the vehicle history of your vehicle to see that a potential buyer will see.

I have a o5 Ssangyong Rexton diesel , the check light has come on a few days ago , is there anything I can do before bringing it to a garage, it has been well maintained , I have checked oil and coolant. About 90k miles on it.

Some cars may have a way to get the engine light code, so you don’t need a mechanic to run the diagnostic. You should check the manual, or better yet, do an internet search and see if there is a way to get the code. From that code, you can get an idea what the issue could be.

Can A dealership change the interest rate on the car after you sign one a few days earlier.

It’s hard to answer this question without all the details, but there are situations where this sort of thing can happen. If you left the car dealer with the car, and the contract said “pending approval”, they have the ability to change your rate. This could be a popular dealer scam, called Yo-Yo Financing.

I am selling 1999 Montero that we bought new. It has 209000 miles. The engine needs valve seals and although it does not smoke very much , it will smoke when left to idle for a period of time. Valve seals are $700 to $1000 job. Question, shuld I pay for repair and try to recoup money in sale, or sell at a reduced price to allow buyer leway to repair?

You are not alone with this question, because it is a very difficult one. You have to consider your target audience. Depending on what you think you can get for the car, the repair could be a pretty substantial price increase you would have to add to recoup your repair costs. Without the repairs, you have to think about who would buy a car that has issues like that. You could always pick your price, try to sell it for a week or two, if no bites, get the work done, increase the price and put it back on the market. Good luck.
