Under Auto Prices: Buying Used Cars: Car FAQ
Buying a used car has become very popular these days. However, it is often hard to judge the price of a used car, as many factors have to be taken into account. First off, the overall condition of the vehicle is the single most important way to judge how much you should pay for the car. Check and make sure that the owner took the car in for regular service, including changing the oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles. Make sure that the vehicle doesn’t have a ridiculous amount of miles for the year it was made, as this could suggest costly repairs down the road for you. Make sure that all of the parts of the car are in good condition, such as the tires, brakes, lights, air conditioning/heating, seat belts, etc. Also, remember to take a VERY thorough test drive! One of the best resources for determining how much you should pay for a used car is Trade-In-Value.net, although it should not be taken as gospel.
